Dealers' Room
If you had planned on having tables in the Dealers' Room but missed the January 31, 2001 deadline, don't despair. There are still a limited number of tables available, so if you act quickly, we can still fit you in.
We are very excited to have Luc Smiers from Holland gracing our Dealers' Room with 3 tables piled high with the most gorgeous lace you've ever seen. Much of his lace is new, but manufactured on the old machines perfect for period costumes. Most of it is soft and drapey cotton lace, and can be dyed. He has everything from 1/8th" insertion lace for doll clothes to 15" wide lace trim, to lace fabric. While we're not sure exactly what selection he will be bringing CC19 will be worth the trip for the lace alone. His prices are very reasonable for the quality. Luc does not accept cheques, charge cards, or debit cards CASH ONLY. (A bank machine is available at the hotel.)
We will also have MacPhee Workshop, the supplier of the Patchwork Puzzle Coat, one of the pattern selections for the Single Pattern Contest. They will have a full selection of their patterns available, including The World's Easiest Vest. The display garments will inspire you to totally unleash that creative spirit of yours, and to further get the creative juices flowing there will be a selection of interesting trims.
Carol vanEe, who will be teaching our millinery workshop, will have a selection of millinery supplies at the MacPhee table buckram, wire, needles etc.
