GREEN ROOM AND STAGE INFORMATION
GREEN ROOM
The Green Room will be formed from the Rideau, Mount Royal, and Lakeview rooms.
Clearances
- The lowest ceiling point found in these rooms is 9 feet 1inch.
- The public double doors into these rooms are 100 inches (8 feet 4 inches) high by 35.5 inches (2 feet 11.5 inches) wide when a single door is open and 100 inches (8 feet 4 inches) high by 71" inches (5 feet 11 inches) wide when both doors are open.
- Entrance from the Green Room to the back stage wings will be through one of two openings in the Mayfair Room's airwall at least 72 inches (6 feet) wide. Openings will be located stage left and stage right
- The service double doors in the Rideau room will only be used as an emergency exit. The door clearance is 93 inches high by 33.5 inches wide for a single door and 93 inches high by 67 inches wide for both doors open.
STAGE
The stage will be located in the Mayfair Room segment of the main ballroom formed from the Mayfair, Bel-Aire, and Britannia rooms.
Dimensions
- The stage will be 16 inches (1 foot 4 inches) high.
- Usable stage area will be 24 feet wide by 16 feet deep.
- Wings are present at the back on stage left and stage right. They are 8 feet wide by 8 feet deep. The wings will be curtained from the audience.
- Steps will provide access on to the wings and an exit route off of stage front. The steps are 4 feet wide with an 8 inch high step and an 11 inch tread.
Clearances
- The distance between the stage top and the ballroom's lowest ceiling point is 156 inches (13 feet) high.
- Off stage, the main ballroom's lowest ceiling point is 172 inches (14 feet 4 inches) high.
- The public double doors into these rooms are 100 inches (8 feet 4 inches) high by 35.5 inches (2 feet 11.5 inches) wide when a single door is open and 100 inches (8 feet 4 inches) high by 71 inches (5 feet 11 inches) wide when both doors are open.
