In Memoriam: Bonnie LeRoy, a Maryland Costumer

Passing of a Dear Friend

Bonnie LeRoy passed away on Wednesday, February 12th, 1997. She was 46 years old. She was diagnosed as having cancer of the appendix. She fought valiantly, undergoing an operation on last Thanksgiving Day and following up with chemotherapy, but in the end she could not beat this rare form of cancer.

Bonnie was a unique individual who touched many lives. She was a caring friend who always had time to listen and help those in need. At places she worked she quickly gained the reputation as the office "therapist" and "masseuse".

Many will remember Bonnie for her enthusiasm for Star Trek and her costuming at the Trek conventions. Who can forget her "Cat Woman" and "Trek-ercise". She had a wonderful sense of humor and could light up a room with her smile.

We have lost a true and dear friend. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
