At Costume-Con 20 the ballots were counted; however, there were apparently irregularities in the way Site Selection for Costume-Con 23 was conducted. The official vote tallies are not available. As we understand it, 6 ballots were received, total, and they were unanimous in their declaration that Salt Lake City was the winning bid. Subsequent to the announcement, Karen Dick confirmed that CC23 would take place in Ogden, Utah on the above dates, pursuant to the Costume-Con ConStitution (paragraph 2.18).

The Bid Submission deadline for Costume-Con 23 passed without posting on this site. Only one valid bid was received in good order by the deadline, and was authenticated accordingly.

This bid represents the only official bid for Costume-Con 23. Any other bids were considered write-in bids.
